i'm excited about LOVE MEDICINE, there is more sybolism in the first 40 pages than in most books we've read before. So if June is the main character, and she dies in the winter, do you think her name is going to be symbolic of something important in the summer of her life ? or maybe in the lives of others she's influenced ?
I definitely think her name will serve as some type of symbolism. I am excited to see how the story unfolds and decode the symbolism embedded in the book.

ReplyDeletewell "June" is a name definitely tied to spring, and spring is the archetype for life and re-birth, so maybe June will somehow be "reborn" later in the story? idk just a thought
