Going to War...

Would anyone know what war Henry Junior signed up for around 1973 or 1974?  I'm just curious.

    ok ok that was a dumb question.. I noticed in "A Bridge" Henry Junior was talking about the Vietnamese once or twice so it could be that.

    he didn't sign up around 70's, he got back around 70's because he was imprisoned by the Vietnamese soldiers.
    Vietnam war last from 1959-1975.
