paper question

my peer editor doesn't think I have any element imagery. Would anyone else like to read my story and discover my water imagery?

    I think its good to be subtle with imagery because mine is too obvious and im not sure how to make mine more subtle, do you have any tips?

    Use words that are suggestive of your motif, but don't hit your reader over the head with very obvious stuff. A little bit here and there goes a long way.
