I don't know what you all think but every time I read the word Nelson, I think of the Simpson's character.

  4. whenever i think of Nelson i think of the really mean character from SpongeBob SquarePants that comes in and eats a burger and pretends the pickles are missing just to make spongebob freak out.
    i cant remember his name.

actually.. the other character that comes to mind is Flex. hes also from SpongeBobs and goes to the boating school and beats him up but doesnt get to really hurt him because hes a sponge also reminds me of nelson

  7. I think the bully in Spongebob is called Flats, because he's flat. I love Spongebob. Yea i know what you are saying, because Nelson in the Simpsons is not terrible like Nelson in EM.

  9. thats it! its Bubble Bass AND Flats.

bubble bass is the one that eats the pickles. the mean cruel lying manipulative one.

Flats is the one that beats him up and wont ever give up for days and nights!

  11. i wouldn't say its a perfect depiction. Nelson from the book would seem way bigger, he is like 300lbs. , otherwise i could picture Nelson as this.

  12. now that i think about this comparison i can see it. Nelson from the simspsons also has a group of friends who are bullies too, like Nelsons friend In EM.
