This is a great site i found that i thought would help! it tells the genre and the rating and the year it came out. its a really cool site i thought would help! however they are all american movies im pretty sure....
Even though you're doing a movie review, you might want to talk about DR actors in your article, like Monica Boyar or Maria Montez. I think you could probably find more movies if you searched by actor, but you could still talk about the fact that they're from the DR.
Well i don't know if you want to do a movie set/about the DR, but you could watch one of my favorite movies of all time. Breakfast at Tiffany's! I know it has nothing to do with the revolution but it was released in 1961 and it IS a great movie!
