Oldboy, the Korean one? That movie is so good. I didn't realize the Greek themes, but thinking about it, I get it. It's a pretty intense/disturbing movie.
O Brother Where Art Thou is a perfect example. Of course, the book is based off of the Odyssey. While The Odyssey is not a tragedy per se, the movie changes things so that it does become a sort of tragedy.
