Louise Erdrich

I was wondering about Louise Erdrich's background and found out that she is 1/2 Native American and belongs to the Ojibwe tribe. Here is a link that leads to her biography.

    I was just wondering why she put some of the stuff in the novel and reading her bio answered my question.
