Okay, so the day that Sunny finds Edgar by the windmill doing his thing... does she actually know what he's doing or no. I think she does but just checking to be sure. She says how she won't tell on him and she sees him going out here a lot lately. In return he states he won't tell on her either.. for what exactly?
I read that same part and got confused on the same thing, but i reread it and i think that he was just saying in general that he wouldn't be a "tattle tail" about anything she told him or did. I assume that is the way Edgar is telling Sunny that she can trust him, unlike her little brother Brain.
ReplyDeleteI think so too. They seem to have a different bond about them. When they're talking they seem to understand each other quite well. I'm sure it's much different than what they thought it would be like.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Sunny knows what he's doing. I think that she thinks he's outside feeling lonely, or crowded, or longing for freedom. I think she assumes he's out there for the same reasons she is. I think that if she realized what he was doing, she'd give him some privacy.
