Edgar's habit

This book got really funny. Especially the part when Edgar develops his bad habit. Would you say this book is better than the other books we have read or worse?

  1. This book is by far the best book ive read ever at Stm the only other book i think that even comes close to this is Tangerine, for those of you who remember that book, but Edgar is so easy to like and relate to and the teenage humor makes it that much better

  4. This is my favorite book this year. Udall makes the characters seem like real people. I get angry when Edgar gets bullied, and I cried when Cecil died. I feel stronger connections with the characters in this book than the characters in the other books we've read this year.

  5. This book is my favorite book that we have read during high school. It isn't confusing and their aren't a million characters to remember like Love Medicine. I think Edgar is a character that everyone can relate to.

  6. This is my favorite book so far. It is well written and has little hidden symbols but is very easy to follow, unlike Love Medicine, that jumped around too much and had SO many characters.

  9. i really like this book too. it's funny and even though it has some strong and somewhat depressing material Udall did a good job making it so it was still entertaining unlike tonto and love medicine where both were just sad.

  10. much better..because it is not all about alcohol and sex and drugs...and because the point of view is from a child and not an adult

  11. Definately better because it is funny and easy to read. I think it is a lot of teenage humor and I like the way Brady Udall wrote the book without censoring things or making things too "grown up."
