From 2003-2005, about 69 per every 100,000 iron workers in the United States were killed on the job. Iron work had the highest rates of death during this time period followed closely by power installers.

I had no idea that this was one of the most dangerous jobs. I definately would have thought mine workers had it the worse. This is interesting.
