It's weird to think that Lucy and Ardi were 1 million years apart but were found only 45 miles away from each other.
Ashleigh, it is interesting to note that the two fossils were found so close together yet were so separated by time. What reasons can you provide for this phenomenon? Do you think it has to do with the habits of early hominids, or do you think it has to do with the circumstances required for fossil formation?
