The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon
The other day in one of your classes I mentioned this book, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King. In it a young girl gets lost in the woods and imagines that she is being stalked by a strange forest creature. The creature she imagines is a little like a windigo in some ways. The girl survives by listening to the Red Socks on a little transistor radio that she has with her. Her love for Tom Gordon, a player for the Red Socks, helps her get through her ordeal. It's a fun book and a really easy read.
