so have any of yall seen the movie Flags for our fathers? Well if not in the movie one of the marines is a Pima Indian, Ayra Hayes. He was mistreated for being an Indian in public places. At the end he died of drinking too much. I thought it was just kind of relevant to Love medicine just because in the sense that he is Indian and he drinks alot.

i actually read part of the book on Flags of our Fathers and learned the Ayra Hayes drank because only 3 of the flag raisers from Iwo Jima survived the war. All the rest were killed in action. Ayra was so depressed from the public calling him a herobecause he was a flag raiser and because he left his comrades back in the Pacific to fight in the war(he was pulled from action by the government to be a National hero) that he became a drunk.
