I think Tiresias is a good ID. He is the main person who causes Oedipus to become angry, seeking out revenge to search for his parents. While Tiresias is actually blind, Oedipus' pride leads to blindness as well. Then, in the end, Oedipus blinds himself literally, by poking out his eyes. He feels he deserves this punishment and even says proudly, that he did this himself.
Oedipus has two sons (Polynices and Eteocles), and two daughters (Antigone and Ismene). The brooch with which he gouged out his eyes might also be an ID.

We are going to make a study guide type thing in class today and write down possible quotes and ids on the board to study with!!
