I know they are very similar Robert. In the book, the scene where Othello thinks about if Desdemona is having an affair takes like one scene. In the movie, it's like an all day thing- many scenes.
yeah and that's really weird because the movie is more compact than the actual play. ms. deckard said in class that since the play is supposed to last three hours and the movie is only about two they had to condense some things. but then in this case the scene is a lot more drawn out in the movie. just sayin.
