HW: Indian Boarding Schools

After reading the homework, I found it interesting how reformers believed they could completely transform native Indians into normal citizens, since it would be difficult for Indian boys and girls to suddenly leave their old lifestyle to join a new, foreign "American" lifestyle. Also, it was interesting to find out that Indian students who were caught speaking their native language were severely punished. Pretty ridiculous.
