Native American Lawsuit

Today I found an article about a lawsuit involving Native Americans. It has been a lawsuit that has been ongoing for 13 years that could be delayed again if Congress doesn’t give its approval by the end of February. It is one of the largest class-action lawsuits in history. About 300,000 Native Americans would be compensated for billions of dollars of royalties they say is owed them. The money is from royalties from the past 100 years on oil, mineral, and grazing rights. According to the article I read, the settlement will have to be renegotiated if it isn't approved by the end of February. The settlement would be $3.4 billion to Native Americans.
