This is a Merliton

It's weird to think this is from the Native Americans, My family makes these all the time and it's cool to know where they come from.

Yeah we always eat these too, and i never knew they came from indians either.

Yeah, so "came from Indians." What do you mean by that? Like, are made from "Indians"? Merliton is a plant that is indigenous to the New World, just like corn, cranberries, avacado, squash, tomatoes, and many types of beans. If you mean that merliton was domesticated by Native Americans, then yes, it "comes" from "Indians."

I didn't know they came from indians either. its cool to know that these come from indians because i eat merliton dressing all the time
