This is a picture of the stigmata. I thought i was really scary looking and I don't know how people could chose to do this to themselves. It seems really painful!

i guess people do this to theirselves because they probably want to be closer to jesus. Because it is the sign of Jesus to have that on your palms and your feet
But doing this willingly? That's just wrong. If I wore a noose all the time because a friend hanged himself, you'd think I was crazy
Stigmata is not supposed to be an injury you inflict on yourself. It is supposed to be something that just happens to you, like a miracle. Many people became saints after they got stigmata.
