At the end of the chapter where Edgar's mom dies, he cries to Maria. I remember her from previous chapters, however i don't remember who she is! Can someone enlighten me?
Yeah, she works in the secretary's office and she gives Edgar a stamp to sent his letter to Art. He thinks she smells really good and he says that he wants to get her smell down on papaer, and he thinks about her homelife and whatnot.
She's one of the only people Edgar mentions as having a good scent. She never really puts him down in anyway and he feels comfortable to share his emotion with her. Edgar seems like he maybe has a little bit of a crush. Mrs. Whipple also mentions her to Principle Whipple in a negative way when they are arguing. She possibly believes that something was going on between the two.

I believe she is the woman that gives him a stamp for the letter he sends to Art, either that or the nurse, but I believe its the first one
