Emily A said...: The new settlers probably took the Ghost Dance as a threat because they had never seen anything like it before. All they could see were the Native Americans jumping around and making lots of noise. They might have thought they were practicing their battle cries. Either that or they thought the Native Americans were crazy. Either way, it most likely freaked them out.; January 11, 2009 at 3:17 PM
