How old is John? Because it is somewhat obvious that John Pai and Carrie have something going on between them. She seems to be attracted to him physically and mentally. I know Carrie is John's teacher but they seem close in age.

Earlier, someone said John Pai is 15 but i'm not positive whether that's true or not.

No, Sailor is 15 (Seta). John Pai, by my reading, is in his early 20s. If Carrie is 25, it follows that John Pai must be around her age. Nothing L&O SVU going on here, just attraction between two people who are close in age.
