So while writing one of my journals I was looking at banned books, and came across this awesome website. Check it out, it will be much help in understanding the banning process as well as which books are banned and why (something I did not know to much about) so...CHECK IT OUT!

I thought it was interesting that books could be banned for certain religious references. It shows how closed minded those people who decide what books are banned are. All the things a book can get banned for is surprising to me since it's 2010, and there's so much media, good and bad, readily avaliable to kids.
