'However it is women, not men, who kill children, by far'

I looked up the percentage of child related deaths, and I found that as late as 1999, 70.3% of perpetrators  for child abuse were female parents acting alone or with others.
This link shows you other Perpetrator Relationships: female parent being the highest.

It says women are more responsible for FATAL child maltreatment.. maybe child abuse alone, that does not end in death is more the fault of men. If so, I wonder why women are more prone to KILL when they abuse children, but overall men dominate the domestic violence scene without the fatal outcome. Good link, Isma.

This website, fathersforlife.org, has a HUGE bias. Here's what their homepage says:
"The website of Fathers for Life is in defence of men and fathers. It promotes fathers within, not without families.
Deadbeat fathers are a very small, minuscule minority and not representative of all men, just as deadbeat mothers are not representative of all mothers or women. However, we hear incessantly about deadbeat or violent fathers and men, while feminist activists and the feminist-dominated media sweep the issue of deadbeat mothers and far greater numbers of violent women in all cases of domestic violence (esp. when it comes to violence against children) under the carpet.
Our website illustrates how the all-pervasive vilification of men, of fathers and of the traditional nuclear family grew out of the systematic implementation of the international agenda for the planned destruction of the family."

You ALWAYS have to question the source of information you find - statistics are very easy to manipulate. Find statistics about this issue from a reliable government site.

maybe to get better information you would have to do a google search on each states infanticide rate i would like to see the results from that. Plus i am pretty sure they has to be a few studies on this because there was a thing on murdering mothers on discovery the other day.
