i know that Chad Johnson, or Ocho Cinco now, changed his name to OC to match the number on his Jersey
did he do it for luck(or some reaso related to that) or just cause its his number?!

I think he did it more for the media coverage. Beside ocho cinco means eight five not eighty five. I don't know if he did that on purpose or not.
It seems like he would do it on purpose for media coverage. Why else would someone want that name? really?
He's obviously doing it because he's the coolest wide receiver ever and plays for the best team ever.
