catch up

i am having trouble remembering all the details of each story because each story is so different and is not like a novel where everything links together. how are people keeping track of all the details??? also, i missed a few classes and was wondering if there are any themes that are linking all of the stories together? what about any symbols that ms deckard has talked about?

When I do my reading...after im done each chapter I write a short summary and important characters from that chapter on the first page of the chapter under the title. So when i go back to review Ill have small details that will help me keep it straight. Also, one of the recurring motifs is FIRE.

i find that its easiest to remember the stories if you write a summary like brittany does. its a good idea because you can review the first chapter after you read the next one.

word some of them are jam packed with poetry and intricate ideas and details. The switching of narrator and persons (1st 3rd etc) is annoying .

I make character lists at the top of the chapters and a brief ummary so its easy to look back and jog your memory.
