The Ghost Dance

Ethan found this early film of the Ghost Dance made in Thomas Edison's studio in New Jersey. The studio was called "Black Maria" and each year there is still a film festival called the Black Maria film fest.

if i were to see people doing this dance it would scare me and make me leave them and alone which would have accomplished their goal of getting the white people to leave them alone

This would scare me if I saw it in person! It looks intimidating. It looks like the dancers are possessed by something.
