i like junior too becuase he seems to be the only one in the book to care about his life and also has some hope for the future

I like Thomas Builds-the-Fire because his stories are weird and they stray off topic.

I agree with ethan and shay. Junior seemed to have a good view on life at first. He was the only one who seemed to have his priorities straight. He graduated valedictorian and went of to college.

I like Norma Many Horses because she's not like the other women in the book. She's a strong individual, and she has a good outlook on life.

i liked Thomas Builds-the-Fire the best because I liked how he differemt stories. I also liked Victor because he kept the book interesting because he did the opposite of what you thought he should do.

for me, my favorite character was nezzy, or at least i think that was her name. i liked her because she was one of the only strong women in the book and i like how she didnt let her family get her down and make her feel inferior. although victor was a bully and jerk some points in the book and made me really mad how he treated thomas ( a character who i also thought was very very interesting), i liked how he turned out and i love that he was saved by the baby that he was trying to save.

I wasn't a huge fan of any of the characters. I didn't like Norma because she left her husband when he had cancer, that really made me upset. However, I do like the fact that she had strong opinions and stood by her beliefs (even though I don't agree with them).
