Native American Herbalism

This was a website I used for the glogster project. It's really intriguing on the variety of medical uses for different plants.

When I learned that aspirin is derived from the bark of willow trees, I was amazed. It's so crazy that the medicine that we take today, with no idea where it comes from, was often known to the Native Americans. Can you imagine how long it took to determine what plants could be used for what? And how much knowledge was passed from person to person?
