i think it is great and enlightening, i also hate when people post sports pictures and root for the home team..its stupid and immature they should save that stuff for there own personal life. but, yeah the blogging is merely a reason to use TECHNOLOGY at stm and if it is for a grade we must do it..how hard is it to google a link say a sentence about it and hit a button...;)

i think it is a good way to ask question. especially since everyone has a computer in school. ms. deckard had a good idea and said if it is hard for you to rember than make it your hamepage.

i think it's useful to bring up topics that were not thought of in class, but some weeks i feel that i've discussed all issues and points i could think of, and the blog becomes a little superficial. but most of the time it's interesting.

i like it because you get your questions answered quickly but i hateddd it last quarter cuase it messed up my grade. but i do think it is useful and helpful.

It can be usefull if you have a question and for links to websites that have the translation in case you forget your book but it becomes a hassle if you don't need anything and you lose points for not having questions or answers.

I think they are useful because I can ask questions about assignments and tests. And i like that we get free points i dont get why people are complaining about it!

No, blogging is not just an excuse to use technology. We have technology now, so yes we should take advantage of it, but there are good and bad ways to do that. Blogging creates on-line communites that can be very useful. You can share ideas, new things you've learned, and things you know are of interest to others. You can give each other advice about college essay topics and moral support when things are tough. When you were working on your paper, you helped eachother with quotes, when you were studying for Oedipus and Medea, you shared quotes you thought would be on the test. You found and shared all sorts of great stuff for the inferno. From your grades, I can show you that those of you who are blogging are learning more than those who aren't. It's not just about the blogging grade, its about the big picture.

i think it can be useful but i don't like that we have to do it just because i forget sometimes and i don't always have something useful to say so it can be a kind of a hassle.

i think it's useful because you can get your questions answered quickly and other people can have their own opinion on stuff that you say which is good too

Even though it may hurt your grade if you don't contribute to the blog, I really think it helps if you need to ask a question. It's really nice when you can't think of your question until after class is over.
