The Divine Comedy

Unlike a lot of books and other literature we are required to read for English class, I actually really like The Inferno. What do yall think about it?

i really like it too i think it's interesting and i like how each reading is something new it keeps me one my toes... the only downfall with that is that it makes it hard to keep up... but over all it's good

I really like the Inferno too. I like the format. The short cantos make it easy to read. I also like how the punishments are always the opposite of the sin. Sometimes it's hard to keep track of what circle is for which group of sinners, but I really like the story.

the inferno is my favorite reading assignment i have had all of high school its not full of feminism or any other issues we have become used to hearing about in engligh class, other than the occasionally confusing text i have enjoyed it alot

I like reading it because I am definitely not bored and I have never read anything so dark before. I cannot say if I like the whole thing yet, I have to see how it ends first.

I think Dante has WAY to much time on his hands! great story-yes but, in my opinion, reads like a dry synopsis.

i like it because it's pretty twisted but almost in a funny way. he references other literature that we've read and it's cool to be able to make the connections.

This is I think the second maybe the third good book I have read. Usually we read boaring books or I don't read them at all but this is actually good.
