SarahBeth's Haikus

1) As the apple rots

piercing his brown feeble back

his family sighs

2) Her faint dreams go on

as the three men stare blankly

at her heart-felt tunes

3) Hopeless my in bed

an insect eternally

my life’s punishment

4) Because I’m a bug

I cannot provide for them

They will disown me

5) All of these things here

If able I could not crawl

They don’t know I’m here

6) When I speak I click

Mother, Father, Grete listen!

It’s me, your Gregor

7) It gives me a taste

of the world I used to walk

 a man, not a beetle

8) Gregor answer me

Mom and Dad are so worried

Can u speak to me?
