ehh, it was ok, it just ended in like a suttle way i guess. But hey were DONE! i thought the ending could have ended in a somewhat exciting way. But it was like all the bad things that happened to edgar never happened. In a way it was like a fairy tale for him becuase all the bad that happened to him led him to the Nicholas P. house and he found his true family.
I thought the ending was nice and cute in a Disney sort of way. It was fairy tale like, Kim, you're right. I didn't expect Nicholas the mailman to have had a connection to Edgar before the accident, so that was an interesting twist. But overall, I didn't like the book.
I liked the book very much. I was a little disappointed in the ending, but I think that's because the ending went at such a slow pace as opposed to the rest of the book speeding by with twists and turns.
i liked the twist that edgar was being taken care of by the mailman (Nikolas) and Rosa, but then how he just goes on a lives his own life was kind of a cop out way to end it. I liked the book over-all but the actual ending was a little bit weak. id give it an 8 out of 10
i liked the book but the ending was a little week. i liked the twist with Rosa and Nikolas wanting to adopt Edgar before the accident, but i was disappointed that Nikolas was dead by the time he got to Pennsylvania. to me the ending was not very interesting and the matter of about 15 years was put in about ten pages. it just wasn't what i expected after reading the other parts of the book.
I like the book but not the ending. It seems very abrupt. It just says that well nothing really happens with the next thirteen years of my life and now I'm going to move in with my girlfriend. It seems very sudden like the other endings of chapters of this book. It seems quite sudden how Udall only wrote like 2 chapters about how Edgar was converted and next he is living in Richland. He leaves the Madsen's house without saying goodbye and it seems very quick also.
i thought it was a typical ending of a normal life. i liked it because it deviated from the rest of the book. normally, edgar would end up in a mess and in a new place every couple of years and its nice to see him finally be able to settle down and have a normal life.
I liked the book. Though I did not like the ending... i am not sure why. I liked how he was loved all along and did not know it. I think the slowness of the ending didn't make me not like the book though. I thought that was good because it showed the reader how different his life is currently compared to the drama filled in his previous life and such.
the book was good but i think that ending came together really quickly and i thought that was a little frustrating. i really wanted him to meet the mailman.

I liked the book and found it much better than Love Medicine. I could actually relate to some of the characters
i liked the book a lot too. the ending was a little slow but other than that i thought it was great
I liked the ending because everything kind of worked out for Edgar. It's a shame he doesn't get to meet the mailman but atleast he found Rosa.
