Children and youth who are bullied are typically anxious, insecure, and cautious and suffer from low self-esteem, rarely defending themselves or retaliating when confronted by students who bully them. They are often socially isolated and lack social skills. One study found that the most frequent reason cited by youth for persons being bullied is that they "didn't fit in." Males who are bullied tend to be physically weaker than their peers.

yeah i think this describes Edgar because he does lack social skills and clearly does not fit in
I think this does desribe Edgar because he does everything Nelson wants him to to try and avoid getting beaten up. He also sticks out becuase when he starts there he has the helmet.
yea i think he does seem rather anxious and wants to prove himself
I dont think i seems all that phased by the treatment he has recived in his life. He does seem to stand up for himself when confronted by Barry, Rotten Teeth, and sometimes even Nelson.
yea that definately seems to fit Edgar.
I disagree. I think Edgar fits the characteristics, not the other way around. Remember, Edgar was somewhat like this before the accident
Edgar fits part of the role. he may be smaller but we have to remember that Nelson is HUGE. also Edgar beat up the two new kids and does hit people and stand up for himself sometimes. especially when he is faced with protecting Cecil.
I think that descripition of bullied kids does describe Edgar. But a lot of his insecurites could come from his background at St. Divine's where he was isolated and didn't have any contact with other children.
