Are we going to have to write journals on Stony Run?

Stony Run
1. Discuss Edgar’s many parents (or adult mentors). He has many people who care for him, but in strange ways; assess their roles in his life. Are they suitable parental figures?
2. Religion is often made ridiculous in this novel; however, the morality and purposefulness of Edgar’s life seems to indicate Udall believes in a higher power. Agree with or refute this conclusion.
3. Is the end of the book satisfying? What aspects do you like and dislike and WHY?
4. Go back and reexamine Edgar’s narrative perspectives in the book. Why and when does the perspective change? Ultimately, what does this do for the story?
