St. Bernard
We were talking about how people train St. Bernards to find people in the snow and give them the brandy they carry around their neck. I was watching Myth Busters today, and they busted the myth that drinking alcohol in the cold will actually warm you up. Drinking alcohol only make you feel warmer on the outside, but actually lowers your core body temperature significantly, which is bad when you re cold.

Good ole Mythbusters. The guy on the show has such an elegant 'stache. And the dog is precious.
why do the carry brandy. i know it makes you feel warm but doesn't it lower your body temperature?
