???

Edgar reminds me a lot of June Morrisey from "Love Medicine, because they are both considered miracle children, and are praised religiously by others. Being a child with so much power, can be a confusing role to live. Think about Edgar's position in the various places he's lived, how does religion play a part in the book, what do you think Udall's veiw of religion ?

Udall definitely put religious references in the book, but sometimes its hard for me to tell if he;s being serious when he mentions religion or if he's being funny.

i think the religious part makes a huge difference in the book because i think it gives Edgar hope in life and now he is trying hard to follow his religious belifs and change as a person
